About the Venue

Goosedale is one of Nottingham's premier wedding venues. Dating back to the 17th century, Goosedale is surrounded by 120 acres of Nottinghamshire's most beautiful countryside. The venue is located in the leafy village of Papplewick. A mere ten minutes drive from the M1 junction 27. With a choice of ceremony rooms including an outdoor hideaway. Goosedale is the ideal location to get married for the bride and groom looking for a special venue with the wow factor.

As soon as you turn off Goosedale Lane and begin the long drive up to the venue. You start to realise what an absolutely stunning setting it is.

The spacious Ivory suite is popular for larger asian weddings with a capacity of up to 550 guests.

With civil ceremonies also licensed in the Crystal Hall and the hidden lodge, you really are spoilt for choice at Goosedale.

How many people can we invite?

Is Goosedale Exclusive Use?

The Crystal suite marquee can hold up to 550 guests which is ideal for asian weddings. Not many venues in Nottinghamshire can cater for such a large number but Goosedale do this regularly and have a deserved reptuation. The Garden room can hold between 20 to 180 guests for your wedding reception.

Up to two weddings a day can take place at Goosedale. However, both are in totally seperate parts of the venue and given the spacious surroundings, you will barely notice if there's another wedding occuring.

Yes! Newly opened this year, Goosedale now have several lodges from 2-4 bedrooms. Each are stunning with luxury features such as hot tubs and underfloor heating. It really is the perfect place to stay and get ready before your wedding. Not to mention a convenient place to sleep once the party is over.
