Are you planning of having a Peak Edge hotel wedding?

Nestled in the heart of Derbyshire, a short five minute drive outside of Chesterfield is the Peak Edge Hotel. It is a 4 star boutique hotel which is family owned and overlooks the stunning Derbyshire countryside. With 26 luxury bedrooms and lots of free parking, a Peak Edge hotel wedding has become an incredibly popular place for couples to get married in style.

The Peak Edge hotel is licensed for up to 140 guests. With only one wedding a day, you will be assured exclusivity and have total control over the timeline. With two large function rooms, the staff can set up one room for your evening reception whilst everyone is still in the main room. This means there’s not the usual lull whilst the room is turned around and guests are left standing at the bar.

The main bridal suite is a fantastic room for brides to get ready. The large windows run almost the entire length of the room resulting in perfect soft, natural light. Every wedding photographer’s dream! The ceremony room is spacious and guests can be seated comfortably whilst watching you both exchange your wedding vows.

At the rear of Peak Edge hotel there are breath taking views over the Derbyshire countryside which makes the perfect backdrop for stunning bride & groom portraits. The bridge over the man made lake is a great location for beautiful photographs.

With over six hundred positive reviews on Tripadvisor, it is clear to see that customer service is of utmost priority to the staff. If you are getting married here then you are sure to get personalised and individual service. Their dedicated wedding team will ensure that your ceremony and wedding decorations will be absolutely perfect.

With several Peak Edge hotel weddings booked this year, I’m very much looking forward to returning soon.

Photos from previous Peak Edge hotel weddings

I just love this photograph taken outside the hotel in the doorway. I asked Amy & Sam to have a little cuddle and positioned myself the other side of the tunnel behind the LED twinkle lights.  Using a wide aperture, I made the lights out of focus and zoomed into the bride & groom.  I then asked the bride to look at me whilst Sam, the groom carried on enjoying giving his new wife a hug.

The above photo was taken from Lindsey & Daniel's wedding.  Lindsey's dress was a breathtaking backless designer dress.  For this photograph I wanted to show the venue and the dramatic sky behind them.

This last photograph shows my signature natural contemporary style which Derbyshire bride & groom's often book me for.  I never forget that capturing the natural emotions on your wedding day is crucial for me as your wedding photographer. My laid back style aims to tell the story of your day.
