Charlotte & James - Hazel Gap Barn
Charlotte met James at school. I guess it's hard to remember exactly when you met someone at school But a full year before they became a couple, Charlotte was certainly noticed by Jame's dad. "Charlotte's a nice girl!" he said.
Their first date went for a walk at a local playing field. Walking is still something they enjoy doing together. Although nowadays, Truffle their dog is usually with them too.
When they were looking for a wedding venue, they just knew as soon as they walked into Hazel Gap Barn that this was the perfect venue for them. "It was very us", Charlotte said. They loved the beautiful setting, the candles in the main barn as well as the fireplace.
My memory of the newlyweds was that they are a very laid back couple who were happy to let things unfold around them. There was never any panic, stress or worrying about making sure everything was absolutely perfect. They just had a great day with their closest family & friends. Which is exactly what weddings should be all about!
