Eastington Park Wedding – Claire & Danny
There’s something really special about a winter wedding. I LOVE them! The crisp air, soft golden light, and that cosy, festive atmosphere you only get in December. Claire and Danny’s day at Eastington Park had all of that and more.
Claire is from the UK, Danny’s originally from Texas, and they met while living and working in Singapore. Having recently just been on holiday there with my wife, I’m a bit jealous if truth be known. Singapore is simply an amazing city and part of me wants to live there too!!!
They found Daiga & I after seeing the photos and wedding film we created for Claire’s cousins, Holly and Alex who got married at Norwood Park in 2023. Claire called Holly to ask if it would be OK if they booked us too and Holly told us she replied with a big “YES!!!!”. We always love seeing couples again and seeing how they are doing. But with Holly & Alex we loved seeing the entire family again!
Claire & Danny chose to have both photography and videography, which meant Daiga and I could fully capture the energy, emotion, and all the beautiful little moments as the day unfolded.
Eastington Park was the perfect choice of venue. If you’ve never been, it’s a stunning stately home-style wedding venue tucked away in Gloucestershire. It has a real sense of elegance, with its sweeping staircase, tall windows, and grand interiors. Even in the middle of winter, it has this warm and inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home.
Danny wore a classic black tux and looked every bit the part while Claire looked absolutely stunning in a fitted wedding dress with a long, flowing veil. It was elegant, timeless, and suited her perfectly. Although it was a bit cold outside, we were lucky with the weather. The sun was shining and we were able to step out into the grounds for some beautiful natural portraits in the gorgeous winter golden hour. Proof that you can still get magical wedding photos even in winter light.
The rest of the day was filled with everything you’d hope for from a celebration like this. Heartfelt speeches, a packed dancefloor, and a sparkler exit. It was a real party atmosphere from start to finish. It was clear that these two are surrounded by people who love them deeply.
