When Emma & Antony first approached me about being their Mythe Barn wedding photographer. I was really excited. Mythe Barn looked like such a a beautiful venue.

Everything was going so so well and my wife & I had a pre-wedding meeting just as Covid lockdown seemed like it might be a possibility. Despite us keeping our fingers most firmly crossed. Sadly, the national lockdown meant that Emma & Antony had no choice but to postpone their wedding date.

They would now get married in October! Things obviously were very uncertain and with a week's notice. The government decided to reduce the number of guests from 30 to 15! Choosing only 30 guests was already hard for them but going down to 15 would be pretty much mission impossible.

So Emma & Antony decided to try and bring the date forward to the day before the new rules came into effect. Thankfully Mythe Barn were available on that date and we were also!

They may not have been able to have as many family & friends as they'd originally hoped. But it was still a very relaxed day full of love.

The only thing different really was that guests had to wear masks during the ceremony. Despite no dancing being allowed, Smooth Move Events kept everyone entertained.

I was also very impressed with the rustic love letters supplied by Lilberts Event Hire and the taxi photo booth was a great hit!
