Lisa and David were married on what must have been the sunniest day in April. They took their wedding vows at Hazel Gap Barn in Welbeck Nottinghamshire. A dramatic wedding barn which has been beautifully restored to make it one of the most stunning venues in the area.
Hazel Gap Barn is a place you can never get bored of no matter the amount of times you have been there. Understandably it is one of the busiest venues at the moment and I am honoured to have been booked as the official Hazel Gap barn wedding photographer for many couples over the next two years.
David first met Lisa when she moved in next door. He instantly fell for her, however Lisa played it much cooler. Eventually David managed to win a date with her and their love blossomed from there.
David proposed to Lisa during a trip to New York. He got down on one knee at Times Square after first walking eight miles in the wrong direction. Despite this, Lisa said yes and the rest as they say is history.
Their wedding was a magical day with the newlyweds and their guests enjoying the warm spring sunshine around the courtyard and toasting marshmallows in the fire pits.
We took Lisa and David to the woodland area to the rear of Hazel Gap Barn for their wedding photos. The bluebells were out which were beautiful to see. It was very clear just how much in love Lisa & David are with each other.
After the first dance, we handed sparklers out to all their guests and Lisa and David went through the ‘sparkler tunnel’. Since they’d bought loads of sparklers, the guests enjoyed playing with them afterwards and we left Hazel Gap with a packed dance floor thanks to DJ Gazza’s hard work.
I hope you like the above photos from Lisa & David’s wedding at Hazel Gap Barn, Nottingham. We also created a cinematic wedding film for them which you can see right at the bottom of this page. I hope you love them!
