When Joe & Keeley decided to get married. Joe wanted to get married near where he grew up in Tamworth. Keeley preferred her town, Nottingham. Joe decided to suggest a compromise of somewhere in the middle. A compromise was indeed struck and they booked the fabulous Colwick Hall in Nottingham! lol
I for one am glad they chose Colwick Hall as their wedding venue. I always enjoy creating Colwick Hall wedding photos. It is such a beautiful venue with loads of photographic opportunities.
Keeley started her day getting ready at her mum’s house along with her bridesmaids. We all travelled to Colwick Hall for the finishing touches and before she got into her stunning bridal gown.
Meanwhile, Joe was downstairs with the guys in the ceremony room waiting for the arrival of his bride. Their son was the lucky guy who walked Keeley down the aisle. It was smiles all around as they said their marriage vows to each other, although I did manage to capture a few tears in the audience. Especially from Keeley’s mum.
After the hilarious speeches, we popped outside for a few more couples photos since the sunset was looking particularly nice this warm summer’s day. Next of course was the first dance where the bridesmaids popped confetti canon’s which always look great on the first dance photos. Thankfully I was on the ball today since they let them off a bit earlier than I was expecting!
As I was packing away and putting my equipment into the back of my car, I came up with a great idea! So I found Joe & Keeley who were dancing away on the dance floor. I asked them if they’d mind taking just ‘one more shot’. They were more than happy to oblige. And I for one am very grateful they spared me a few more minutes to capture this stunning photo!
Here are a few more of my favourites from their wedding day.
