When Joe and Laura were looking for Grangefields wedding photographers, they turned to their family and friends who were also in the wedding business and one of their close friend's, Paul Grundle recommended me. It is always an honour to be recommended by fellow wedding suppliers.
A month before their wedding at Grangefields, my wife & I was there to photograph Feast Night for Cripps and out of sheer coincidence, we were sat next to Laura & Joe during the meal. We had a lovely evening in their company. It was clear they were such a easy going, relaxed couple and that we would have a lot of fun!
On the day of their wedding, we arrived at Laura's house for the getting ready photos whilst my second photographer was with Joe and the lads.
The wedding ceremony was at Grangefields in Derby and the barn as always looked pristine and romantically lit with candles.
After the ceremony, one of the funniest magician's in Nottingham, Paul Grundle entertained everyone with his magic tricks whilst Roland from The Burgandys played music.
During the wedding breakfast, the newlyweds had planned a surprise singing waiter. I always love singing waiters since I think it's a great way to get the party started! As you can see from the photos, everyone had a great time.
During the evening, the Burgandys played the first dance before keeping the dancefloor alive until the end with their brilliant mix of popular music. I've worked with them lots of times and they are without a doubt one of my favourite wedding bands.
