Laura & Nick - Pumping House
It feels like FOREVER since Laura & Nick got in touch with me to be their Pumping House wedding photographer. Unfortunately their plans had to be changed from May due to the pandemic. A new date of December was pencilled in. But sadly a 'normal' wedding wasn't possible still.
Laura & Nick didn't want to wait any longer so decided to have just the civil ceremony this year and move their full day to next year instead.
On the day, they both got ready at the Pumping House. Their closest family and friends were there to watch them tie the knot. Afterwards, we came downstairs where some of their family had a surprise for them! Laura was visibly moved by this kind gesture. A quick cake cut followed by some photos outside. Then it was time for the newlyweds to depart! Short and sweet! But it was evident that love was very much in the air!
I have got to know the newlyweds over the past year quite well, with our Zoom calls and telephone calls. They are really such a genuine couple. I cannot wait to be part of their wedding next year! Being very local to The Pumping House, I will make sure I am there to party the night away with them! Covid sucks!
