When Stacey & Peter were looking for a wedding photographer at Newstead Abbey, let’s just say they weren’t short on people offering their services. So it was a huge compliment when they chose me above everyone else despite the fact many were offering discounted rates in an aim to secure the booking.
As I’ve said before, Newstead Abbey is one of my favourite locations in Nottingham for weddings. The grounds just have endless photography opportunities and I was very much looking forward to their big day.
Stacey looked absolutely stunning and Peter looked so happy as she walked down the aisle. Stacey later admitted to me that she was very nervous but I don’t think anyone could tell.
After the usual civil ceremony we all went outside for a quick drinks reception before I whisked the newlyweds away for some photographs.
The wedding breakfast was held nearby at Mansfield Manor. My first time at this new venue and ironically I was going to be there the following day too! What a hidden gem of a venue. Newly renovated, Mansfield Manor looked fabulous and the park outside makes the ideal setting as well as providing entertainment to keep the kids happy.
The speeches flew by and very soon it was time for the cake cut & first dance. I left the happy couple partying the night away with their friends & family.
Below are some of my favourite photographs from their day. Hope you like them.
