Nicola & Stephen – Swancar Farm
It is always nice when previous customer’s have been happy enough with my work and service to recommend me to their good friends. And this is exactly what happened. Nicola & Steve were looking for a Nottingham wedding photographer for their wedding at Swancar Farm. Their friends recommended me and the rest as they say is history.
Unfortunately 2020 has been a turbulent year and as it progressed. I confess I was a little worried if Nic & Steve would be able to have their wedding. Thankfully the team at Swancar were able to work their magic and they were able to go ahead with a reduced number of guests and in a covid-secure manner. With hindsight it was fortunate as a few weeks later, the rules changed again!
Steve arrived in style in a Bentley. What a beautiful car!
It was my first time photographing in the brand new Glass barn downstairs. I am in awe of this new addition. The natural light just floods into this room and the staff have even thoughtfully put roller blinds down one side in case the sun is too harsh.
Despite the restrictions, Nicola & Steve’s wedding day was still full of the laughter and tears as you will see from their wedding photos. Despite being a more intimate wedding than they originally planned as well as a nail biting approach. The good news was the reduced number of guests meant the newlyweds could spend more time with their closest friends and family. For me, it meant I had a little more time to create a few stunning portraits that they would love.
Below are some of my favourite wedding photos at Swancar Farm I created on their day. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. If you are getting married at this prestigious venue then I’d love to chat with you.
” Martin did our wedding in the 3rd of September and he is absolutely sensational. Not only are his skills amazing but the man himself is too. Making us so at easing and helping us catch our magical day. “
