Wedding Photography in New York at a Destination Wedding

Nina & Ethan – New York Wedding

O.M.G. What a wedding! I was fortunate enough to be invited to join Nina and Ethan for their wedding in New York! To say I was excited would be an understatement. It was my first wedding following an American timeline and I have to say I think the American’s have timings laid out better! There’s just less rushing around and as a result we can spend more time creating beautiful photos.

Nina & Ethan had a catholic ceremony at Nina’s childhood family church in Hoboken, New Jersey. She got ready at her parents home which was literally a two minute walk down the same street.

After the ceremony the wedding party went down to the park next to Hoboken train station which has beautiful backdrop of the New York skyline. Luckily there was a Fox News reporter there who happened to have a drone so she kindly offered to grab some aerial footage for the newlyweds!

After we’d finished the private session, we got in the limo and drove to the reception at the incredible West Mount Country Club.

The first dance, speeches & toasts were done and all the guests hit the dancefloor. And I mean virtually ALL the guests. This isn’t like the UK where often it’s just a few token guests shuffling. We’re talking proper dancing on the dancefloor! Those who know me will realise I am in my element here!

The final official function was the cake cut before we managed to leave, tired but buzzing from what was an absolutely baller of a wedding!

Thank you so much to Nina & Ethan for sharing their day with me. Here are just a very very few of my favourite images from their day.
