Fran & Phil - Norwood Park

Today I would love to share with you all, some Norwood Park wedding photos taken at Fran & Phil's wedding last summer. Three years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Fran's sister, Sophie and her partner Tim's wedding at Swancar Farm. So when Fran and Phil decided to get married, I was absolutely thrilled to hear from them.

It's always good to know that you did a good enough job the last time that you're asked to photograph another family wedding! It's just a double bonus when they've chose such an incredible venue like Norwood Park for their wedding!

Fran & Phil are both incredibly laid back. Fran was literally full of smiles the entire day. And that's the way it should be!

For most of the day, I was left to document what was happening and they happily let things just unfold naturally. They were gracious enough to give me a bit of time to pop out for a few photos. Given it was such a sunny place and Norwood Park has such beautiful gardens, it would have been criminal not to get some amazing photos.

My favourite memories were:

Phil's face during the best men's speech. His face spoke volumes and at times hid his face behind his hands to save his embarrassment!

Fran, cheekily sticking her tongue out as she walked down the aisle as her and Phil saw each other.

Oh and Fran & Sophie's face as the bottle of Processco popped open a split second before they were expecting it to!

It's really those types of natural moments that I enjoy capturing.

This was also the first time I saw Sarah Sax play. Her energy and crazily fantastic musical talents really got the party started. With my good pal, Jason from Dream Wedding Entertainment as the DJ.
