Well it’s 2015 and we’re off to an early start this year. Rachel & Robert contacted me late last year booked me to be their Allington Manor wedding photographer for their special day. Allington Manor is a grade 2 Jacobean building in Lincolnshire that has been beautifully restored. One look and I could see why they’d chosen this unique venue for their wedding.
This was not your average traditional UK wedding. Rachel & Robert opted for a relaxed yet intimate celebration with their closest family & friends. I seem to be quite lucky with the weather recently with lots of daylight and no rain it meant we could get some outdoor photographs. Rachel looked stunning as she entered the room with all their family looking on. Robert certainly looked like the cat that got the cream. You’re a lucky guy Robert! After the traditional ceremony the couple mingled with the guests. Next came the speeches and after the formalities were out of the way we all went outside for a few quick group photographs. We took the opportunity to use some of the unique features at Allington Manor to create some bride & groom portraits before I left the happy couple just as the wedding breakfast was being served.
Here are a few of my favourite wedding photographs from Rachel & Robert’s wedding day at Allington Manor.
