Simone & Reiss got married at the beautiful St. Giles church in West Bridgford and invited me to be their wedding photographer in Nottingham. It was a beautiful day for a wedding with everyone including the bride arriving on time. No mean feat I can assure you. It was a military wedding so all the guys were in full dress uniform which I think always looks fantastic. In fact I think any guy can’t help but look handsome in a full dress uniform. Now I’ve been to a lot of weddings over the years and one of the unwritten rules is that you shouldn’t upstage the bride. In fact I’d say as faux pas go, that’s pretty much top of the list! However on this occasion I think we can make an exception. You see, Simone & Reiss had a full dress uniform made up for their son who in my opinion absolutely stole the show. He looked SO cute & gorgeous that you couldn’t help but say “Awwww! So cute!” In fact I was saying that all through the post processing of their photographs!
The weather was very mild despite it being the end of September so after the ceremony we took some time out near the local park for the couples photographs. The old registry office is currently under renovation but still makes a beautiful backdrop and has the added bonus of less people walking around. I noticed some red flowers which I thought would compliment the couple’s colour scheme perfectly so used them in a few of their portraits. Below are a few of my favourite images from the day. Hope you like them.
