When Stu first contacted me looking for a Breadsall Priory wedding photographer, I was excited to find that I already knew the bride and some of the guests were fellow BMF’ers. British Military Fitness (BMF) is a military style outdoor bootcamp but it’s a longstanding joke that we don’t recognise each other when we’re in normal clothes since often we only see each other covered in dirt & mud! So I was especially pleased when Sue & Stuart chose me to photograph their wedding day. It would be great to see everyone smart!
Now a lot of couples who have a winter wedding hope for snow. Very few are lucky enough to get it but lady luck was smiling on the happy couple and we had plenty of snow. The Breadsall Priory hotel is a stunning venue and the snow just made it even better.
The day was jammed packed full of fun. We had everything from singing waiters, to the funniest father of the bride speech I’ve ever heard. The first dance was a surprise for the guests and had been choreographed by some of the couple’s friends. As you will see from the photos below, it was amazing and they definitely nailed it.
We left the day exhausted but so happy that we could share Sue & Stuart’s happy day. Below are some of my favourite photos from their day. Hope you like them.
