Swancar Farm is one of Nottingham’s most popular and prestigious wedding venues. It is a must have on every respectable wedding photographer’s portfolio due to it’s popularity with bride & grooms.
Their wedding fair’s are notoriously busy with engaged couples flocking from all around Nottinghamshire to check out this beautiful venue. Set within 250 acres of land, Swancar Farm boasts stunning countryside views. Providing many opportunities for picturesque photographs yet within easy reach from the centre of Nottingham and Derby.
My favourite places to take portraits of the bride and groom are:
The path leading up to Swancar Farm is one of those must have photos. With sweeping views of the Nottingham countryside it’s easy to see why every wedding photographer uses it as one of their first locations.
The next is the Pagoda. Especially in the evening where I can lower the ambient light and create beautiful photos with dramatic skies.
Lastly a hidden gem. If you walk a bit further up to the field, as the last few photos of the day, you can capture some absolutely exquisite sunset photographs.
Finally, after a hard day partying, Swancar Farm has a several hotel rooms on site for close family & friends to stay overnight. Swancar is also conveniently located near the Belfry hotel and other hotels so guests don’t have far to go at the end of your wedding reception.
If you are looking for an exclusive wedding venue for your special day, Swancar Farm should be high on your ‘must see’ venues.
