The Pumping House is a newly refurbished wedding venue set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, near Ollerton Nottinghamshire. Set in six acres of woodland, this industrial chic exclusive use wedding venue has many of its original features maintained. Including the internal brickwork and chimney.
Couples can get married in the Ollerton room then enjoy the quirky themed rooms which you can customise and use however you see fit.
The main engine hall can hold up to 150 day time guests. Accommodation is also available with ten luxury suites available for your guests and family to stay over after a hard day (and night) of partying!
The Pumping House was originally known as Boughton Pumping Station and is now a Grade II listed building. If you are looking for a wedding venue which has a rich history and heritage then I think you'd be hard pressed to find better!
I can certainly see why so many bride & groom's have chosen this stunning venue to get married. The natural light which floods into the main Engine Hall is beautiful and the woodland surrounding the pumping station gives lots of scope for amazing wedding day photographs.

How to find the pumping house
The Pumping House is located a short drive from Blyth Road. If you are approaching from the North then the easiest way would be to take Whitewater Lane.
If from the south then take Ollerton Road (A6075) then turn left onto Whinney Lane.
