Vicky & David - The Nottinghamshire

Vicky and David got married at St. Philips in Mansfield then had their reception at one of the leading wedding venues in the area, The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club!

I arrived with the girls in the morning at the couple's family home in Sutton in Ashfield. A very short drive from my own home! So this was an area I knew well. But I'd never been inside St Philips. I'd driven by it many times since it is on Chesterfield Road, one of the busiest roads in Mansfield!

Imagine my surprise when I stepped through the door to one of the most spectacular churches I'd been to in a long time. Victoria arrived fashionably late but looking absolutely flawless! As she walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her and David was visibily moved!

After their Catholic ceremony, we did a few family group photos outside the church before we all left for The Nottinghamshire. The rest of the day went by in quite a blur. We took a trip out onto the course late afternoon which I find is the best time of the day. The autumn colours were out in force which provided the perfect backdrop. It made this championship golf course look even more stunning than usual!
