Grangefields is one of Derbyshire’s most popular wedding venues and the newest Cripps & Co venue. I am very proud to be one of their recommended wedding photographers.
Unfortunately there's no dedicated space on site for getting ready on your wedding morning so unless you live locally then you will need to hire a space to get ready in the morning.
I have put together some of the most popular locations nearby that some of my previous bride & groom’s and their wedding guests have booked to stay. As well as how far and how long it will take you to drive to the venue.
callow hall - ashbourne
Distance to Grangefields: 9.7 miles (25 mins approx)
Callow Hall is situated in Ashbourne and is in itself a great place to get married! But it is also a hotel so you can book to stay at any of their rooms. There are 15 individually styled rooms, 11 wooden cabins (aka 'hives') and 2 impressive treehouses.
The hotel has a beautiful garden room restaurant where you and your friends/family can relax and have a meal the night before.
To save you getting your dress dirty you can request a buggy to drive you from the hives/treehouses to reception.

the cow at dalbury
Distance to Grangefields: 1.6 miles (5 mins approx)
The Cow is a cosy pub/hotel with twelve double rooms you can book, all beautifully decorated situated in the peaceful village of Dalbury Lees.
The Cow offer a wedding package that includes a meal the night before, breakfast on the morning of your wedding as well as the morning after.
Room 3 is my favourite as this room opens up to the garden terrace. So if you have a large bridal party then and if it's a nice day, people can spill out onto the terrace to give you more room.

church view retreat
Distance to Grangefields: 2.3 miles (9 mins approx)
Church View Retreat is one of the most impressive places I've been for getting ready before a Grangefields wedding. Only a couple of miles from Grangefields, it is a very convenient and pet friendly too!
Church View is the main house and can sleep up to 15 people over 5 bedrooms. A hot tub and indoor sauna makes this the perfect place for the girls to relax and let their hair down the night before your wedding.

hall farm holidays - Hollington
Distance to Grangefields: 3.7 miles (9 mins approx)
Hall Farm Holidays is a stylish barn conversion just under four miles from Grangefields, near Ashbourne. Composing of three buildings, The Mews, The Old Smithy & The Retreat. You and your friends/family can stay in any of the beautiful holiday homes before your wedding.
The Mews has a hot tub in the rear garden so that may be of some interest? I know I'm a sucker for a soak in a hot tub!
