I could literally spend your whole wedding day exploring all the various gardens and creating stunning romantic wedding photos in Harlaxton Manor. Even if it rains, there’s plenty of places indoors such as the conservatory and the Gold room.

the great hall
With its spectacular crystal chandelier, oak paneling and Italian marble flooring the Great Hall is going to wow your guests and provide the most memorable place to get married. Suitable for up to 120 guests to watch you exchange vows and tie the knot in style!
If you have a second photographer then my top tip is to get one of them to stand in the balcony to provide a birds eye view as you exchange rings and a must-have photo of the back of your dress as you walk down the aisle.
It is also the perfect space for your evening reception where after your first dance you can party the night away!
the long gallery
Beautifully decorated in 18th century French style, with its floor to ceiling paneling and stunning views of the grounds, the long gallery can fit up to 130 guests for your wedding breakfast.
what I love about harlaxton manor
It would be too easy to say ‘everything’ but that wouldn’t be helpful would it? As an experienced wedding photographer who has been to many venues, I’d say what always makes a good venue, great is the staff. And here I have to say Harlaxton Manor excels. Everyone I met from the security at reception to the bar staff & waiting staff where all helpful and polite. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing and focussed on making the bride and groom’s day one to remember. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked with me to ensure we could get the best wedding photographs at Harlaxton Manor possible. I genuinely wish more wedding venues were as accommodating!
