Jennie & Dan – Pumping House
Jennie & Dan – Pumping House
Jennie first got in touch about her wedding at a soon to be open venue called The Pumping House. At the time, all we had to go off was their website photos but even from them, I could tell it was going to be a very popular place to get married.
Jennie & Dan at the time were working in Qatar as International teachers. They had made many friends over the years from all across the world. And they wanted to infuse this global theme into their wedding. So the Pumping House was perfect as each room was going to be themed with different drinks/food from countries they’d worked in.
Their wedding ceremony took place at a very VERY special place. Jennie’s mum’s church! When I say Jennie’s mum’s church…..i mean that! You see, mum Dee is a vicar and it was incredibly special to be able to conduct the ceremony for your own daughter!
By the time we got back to the Pumping House, the winter light was working against us. So we had to be really quick with the portraits. Thankfully the happy couple didn’t need any prompting and were very natural with each other. So in ten minutes we got lots of beautiful photos.
The rest of the day was so much fun and filled with some tears. I won’t spoil it as you will clearly be able to see what an epic day it was from the video below.
So glad Jennie & Dan invited us to share their special day with them. My wife & I left exhausted but it was one of those weddings we will remember for a long time to come!
