The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club is one of my favourite wedding venues. Situated in the village of Cotgrave. It is conveniently located just seven miles from the city centre.

It is the smart choice for couples who are looking to get married at a location with modern facilities, a friendly, professional staff and a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos.

The Nottinghamshire has a dedicated wedding area that overlooks the hundreds of acres of landscaped gardens.

Wedding Ceremonies

The Nottinghamshire is able to cater for up to 140 people during the day and up to 200 in the evening.

The main room is large, spacious and recently fully refurbished to a high standard. It looks stunning and gone is the infamous carpet!

Wedding Receptions

After the wedding ceremony, you and your guests can relax in the bar area and make use of the balcony outside, overlooking the beautiful landscapes.

Once the dedicated staff have finished transforming the main room, you can sit down for the all important wedding breakfast.

A sound system with microphone is available for the speeches so the speakers do not need to shout!

Once the food is eaten and the speeches completed.  You can all relax again in the bar area whilst the staff once more get the room ready for the evening party.

Wedding Photography at The Nottinghamshire

I am proud to be a recommended supplier to The Nottinghamshire. As you would expect, I know all the best spots for drop dead gorgeous portraits and the best times to go.

My personal favourite is the lake which is a short trip out in the golf buggies.

The willow tree is also a great spot for some stunning bride and groom photographs.

Another spot I love to use is the bridge just in front of the main wedding entrance. It’s only a short walk away and perfect if we are short on time.

However. What I absolutely ADORE are the sunsets. If there’s going to be a gorgeous sunset opportunity. There is literally no place I would rather be photographing a wedding at!

However, don’t worry. Even when it rains, I’ve got the experience and skill to ensure your wedding photographs will still blow you away!
