Hosted by myself and my good friend Megan Wilson, we will unveil EVERYTHING we know to help you to stand out and succeed in this hyper-competitive industry.
Day 1, we’ll focus on the business side of wedding photography. Everything you need to know about branding, marketing, advertising, websites and more! It will be full of practical, actionable advice without fluff! To give you all the knowledge you need to get you fully booked year after year.
Day 2, we’ll break into small groups for a hands-on styled shoot with at least two model couples. We’ll explore posing techniques, getting those must-have photos that every bride wants to see. You will have plenty of available time to create stunning portfolio-worthy content!
We’re really excited to be hosting our first in-person workshop. Being in-person gives us chance to talk openly, honestly and provide the interactive feedback that will help you succeed.

Day 2 – Shoot
In the morning, we’ll explore the key types of images every wedding photographer should aim to capture—those that matter most to brides, as well as the shots that venues and suppliers love to showcase. Including how to boss the dreaded family group photos!
We’ll cover how to find the best light in any location and use it to create stunning, natural images. Attendees will learn how to adapt to different lighting conditions and make the most of any setting to capture beautiful, flattering photos.
After a short lunch we will split into three groups and each group will have ample time with each model couple
- Group 1 – Free time with model couple, using the gorgeous backdrop of Prestwold Hall. This time will be unguided and you can use the styled interior and beautiful gardens to create portfolio worthy material
- Group 2 – Posing 101 – Learn with Megan, how to confidently pose couples to get beautiful images whilst keeping your clients happy
- Group 3 – Details & Styling – Prestwold Hall will be styled with flowers, table decor and invites to help you improve your detail photography. We’ll also be both available to answer any questions you may have
