Norwood Park is an exclusive use wedding venue that I am always excited to be able to photograph at. Located in the market town of Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Norwood Park is set in a very quiet and secluded area with over 175 acres of deer parkland. Norwood Park boasts a lake and apple orchard. You know you've arrived at somewhere special when you drive through the white gates and up the magnificent driveway.

The owners of Norwood have lots of experience creating luxury wedding experience for hundreds of couples each year.  This exclusive venue offers amazing opportunities for beautiful photography. There are so many places for bride and groom portraits. I honestly believe Norwood Park wedding photography is best when you let the beauty of the location shine through.

At Norwood Park, there will be only one wedding per day. So you can be assured you get full exclusive use of the whole venue. Exclusive use venues are understandably popular in the East Midlands as friends and family can relax and enjoy their day without worrying about having to share the place with others.

Having the venue all to yourselves means you have total flexibility.  We can go whenever the best time is to create the best Norwood Park wedding photographs, without having to worry about sharing the gardens with other guest’s!

I adopt and very unobtrusive and natural style of wedding photography. I prefer to let natural moments unfold and let my photographs tell the story of your day.

I believe that some of the best photos are the ones where your guests don’t realise they are being photographed. For most of the day, I will discreetly observe and capture the natural moments as they happen. As your wedding photographer, you don't have to worry about me bossing everyone around or having to smile and say ‘CHEESE’ to the camera all day.

Whilst most of the day, I work unobtrusively in a documentary fashion. I do like to take a few minutes with my bride and groom’s to create some stunning portraits that you can frame and hang on your wall.

With such a beautiful venue like Norwood Park, we are literally spoilt for choice with locations and backdrops for the perfect photograph.

Since I have photographed at Norwood Park many times, portrait sessions usually take no longer than 10-15 minutes. Leaving you more time to enjoy your day with your friends and family.

One of my goal’s is to keep the portraits relaxed. I really hate the stiff standing to attention poses where you look straight into my lens. I won’t be in your face clicking furiously with my camera.  Instead I prefer to hang back. Give you some breathing space to enjoy each others company.  Naturally on your wedding day I hope you will be able to have a little walk. Give each other a hug, have a kiss and share a few laughs.  Those are the photos I love to capture.
