When Shani & Mark decided to get married, they chose Norwood Park as their venue and asked me to be their wedding photographer. Even though they both live in Australia, it was important to them to have Mark's family & friends be able to celebrate with them.
The bride and groom both got ready at Norwood before their guests jumped on a double decker red bus which whisked them off to the ceremony at St Mary's in nearby Lowdham.
After the ceremony, we all returned to Norwood for the reception and wedding breakfast. It was great for me to have the opportunity to catch up with Cora & Tom, whose wedding I photographed last year at Hazel Gap Barn. Seeing couples again and how their lives have developed is one of the most satisfying parts of my job. And I was so pleased to hear they'd be having their first baby soon.
There was some incredible golden hour light which we took full advantage of before everyone hit the dancefloor for the evening disco.
