I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Mythe Barn several times now and each time I just fall in love with the venue a little bit more!

The whole venue has a very laid back, relaxed vibe which is in line with the way I like to photograph weddings.

I won’t be that wedding photographer ordering everyone around with my big camera and even bigger lens! That’s probably the total opposite of what I do.

For most of the day, I will be the unobtrusive but alert observer. Documenting those precious moments you will want to remember again and again. Be it the minute you step into your bridal gown. Or the split second the groom nervously checks his watch. I’ll be there to capture those photos so you can reminisce together in the years to come.

I am also happy to of course photograph some family groups for you. After all, how often do you and your loved ones get together, all dressed up?

Lastly, with me as your wedding photographer at Mythe Barn. I promise to create some stunning portraits. A few jaw dropping photographs that you will want to frame on your wall.

About Mythe Barn

Mythe Barn is one of Leicestershire’s most popular barn wedding venues. Set in over 150 acres of farmland, near the hilariously named Sheepy Magna. It is conveniently located on the border between Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire. Making it extremely easy for you and your guests to find.

On my first visit as a Mythe Barn wedding photographer, I remember driving up the impressive driveway and watching the sheep roaming freely in the fields. It really is a beautiful venue in a tranquil location.

Getting Married at Mythe Barn

Couples can choose to have their wedding ceremony either in the magnificent Oak Barn. Or if you have always dreamed of an outdoor ceremony then you can tie the knot in the landscaped gardens overlooking the River Sence.

No matter which you choose, you will always have the magical day you’ve always dreamed of!

The Oak Barn

This is my favourite room at Mythe Barn and it certainly makes a statement. With solid oak beams, limestone flooring, large windows and skylights to let lots of beautiful natural light in, this room is utterly breathtaking. A very romantic place to get married.

The Minstrel gallery at the back is perfect for a second photographer to capture an alternative angle, such as the back of your wedding dress as you walk down the aisle.

Your wedding breakfast can be served in The Grain Store. I’ll be honest and confess I’m not really sure why the room is called this. The obvious answer is that it was once a grain store! However, if that is the case then the builders have done a superb job in transforming this into a modern looking, light and airy room.

The Garden

Just outside the Grain Store are the gardens. In pride of place is the oak gazebo where up to 150 guests can watch the happy bride & groom get married.

This beautiful garden with its impressive views overlooking the Leicestershire countryside is the perfect location for an outdoor civil ceremony.

The Courtyard

Once you have said the “I do’s”, you and your guests can relax for a drinks reception and a few canape’s outside in the Courtyard.
